When to use this
You are coordinating roles and timing in a team game or shared activity. Give short updates and agree on the next action.
Read a sentence aloud and check its meaning. Instead of memorising everything at once, choose one sentence for today’s conversation and change the name or situation to fit your own experience.
How to practise
Read each sentence slowly. Check its meaning, then say it again without looking at the translation. Finally, add one sentence about your own situation.

Agree on roles before starting so you do not unintentionally duplicate the same task.

Common mistakes and tips
- Here and there can be unclear. Add a location or task name everyone recognizes.
- After explaining a mistake, agree on one action to improve the next attempt.
Try it yourself
Your teammate wants to start, but you are not ready. Give a status update and a request.
Show an example answer
Example: “I am not ready yet. Please wait a moment.” You can add “I need about thirty seconds.”
After your practice
Write down one expression you used for the first time. Think of another situation where it would be useful, and try using it in your next conversation.
