When to use this
Agree on roles for the first round. If you want the same role, decide how to alternate between this round and the next.
Choose a role each and read the goal together. It is fine to start with the helpful expressions. After the conversation, switch roles and practise the same situation again.

How to practise
- Read the roles and goal together. Listening is welcome.
- Talk for two minutes using the helpful phrases.
- Add the twist and continue for one more minute.
- Switch roles, try again, and share one new expression.

Common mistakes and tips
- Before starting, check that you both understand the agreed roles.
- If someone is uncomfortable with a role, look for another combination together.
