Beginner · One practice about 5 min · Created by GameTalk · Edited

When to use this

Make a weekend plan with a friend. Choose an activity, time, and place, then summarize the plan in one sentence.

Choose a role each and read the goal together. It is fine to start with the helpful expressions. After the conversation, switch roles and practise the same situation again.

Your practice goal

Agree on an activity, a time, and a meeting place.

Friend A / Friend B

Useful expressions

What time works for you?

몇 시가 괜찮으세요?

Ask what time works and check morning or afternoon.

Shall we meet at the entrance?

입구에서 만날까요?

If there are several entrances, name the location or a recognizable sign.

If it rains, let us go to a café.

비가 오면 카페에 가요.

Agree on an alternative plan if the weather changes.

How to practise

  1. Read the roles and goal together. Listening is welcome.
  2. Talk for two minutes using the helpful phrases.
  3. Add the twist and continue for one more minute.
  4. Switch roles, try again, and share one new expression.

Change the situation when you feel ready

It may rain that day. Make an indoor backup plan.

A short example conversation

BTwo in the afternoon works. Shall we meet at the park entrance?

ASounds good. If it rains, let us go to a café.

BThen let us meet at the park entrance at two on Saturday afternoon.

그럼 토요일 오후 두 시, 공원 입구에서 만나요.
